Incident Summary:

03/16/2017: Assailants opened fire on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) road opening party (ROP) in Kochwahi, Chhattisgarh, India. At least two assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. In addition, two explosive devices were discovered and defused at the scene. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
