03/28/2017: Assailants, including suicide bombers, attacked Peshmerga forces in Sinjar, Nineveh, Iraq. At least four assailants were killed as security forces repelled the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
