04/05/2017: An explosive device detonated in a garbage bin near the Democracy Monument on Ratchadamnoen Klang Road in Phra Nakhon neighborhood, Bangkok, Thailand. At least two street cleaners were injured in the blast. Wattana Pumret was arrested and confessed that he carried out the attack due to his opposition to the military's political involvement within Thailand.
