04/06/2017: Assailants, including suicide bombers equipped with explosives-laden vehicles attacked western Baiji, Saladin, Iraq. This was one of two coordinated incidents in Baiji on the same day. At least four people, including two soldiers and two assailants were killed and six other people, including four soldiers and two assailants, were injured in both ensuing clashes. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
