04/20/2017: Assailants abducted Mohamed Sahmoud in Arish, North Sinai, Egypt. Sahmoud, a senior Fawakhreya Tribe member, was released after a few weeks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.
