Incident Summary:

05/01/2017: Assailants opened fire on a Somali National Army (SNA) base in Lambar 50, Lower Shebelle, Somalia. At least two assailants and an unknown number of civilians were killed in the ensuing clash. Assailants also set fire to an unknown number of civilian residences. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab.
