Incident Summary:

05/07/2017: Five suicide bombers attacked the Kiwan Military Base on Kirkuk-Dibis Highway in Kirkuk city, Iraq. Two of the assailants detonated while the other three assailants were shot and killed by Peshmerga soldiers at the base. In addition to the five assailants, at least two soldiers were killed and three other soldiers were injured in the attack. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
