05/08/2017: Assailants armed with sharp weapons attacked Mostafizur Rahman in Ishwarganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Rahman, an Ahmadiyya Mosque Imam, was injured in the assault. Muslim extremists claimed responsibility for the attack and stated that the victim was targeted because "he was preaching wrong Islam."
