Incident Summary:

05/09/2017: An explosive device detonated near a Philippine National Police (PNP) patrol close to Raja Buayan Public Market and Mamasapano Elementary School in Manongkaling, Maguindanao, Philippines. At least four officers were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that the attack was carried out by the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM), which denied involvement.
