Incident Summary:

05/14/2017: Assailants abducted five International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) aid workers in Toguere Koumbe, Mopti, Mali. One hostage was released shortly after the kidnapping, and the remaining four hostages were released the next day on May 15, 2017. Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM) claimed responsibility for the attack.
