05/21/2017: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle targeting military forces in Najjar neighborhood, Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. In addition to the assailant, three soldiers were killed in the blast. This was one of four related suicide attacks in Mosul on this date. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
