Incident Summary:

05/22/2017: An explosive device detonated at Phramongkutklao Military Hospital in Ratchathewi neighborhood, Bangkok, Thailand. At least 25 people were injured in the blast; the victims included soldiers, civilians, and a police officer. Wattana Pumret, an unaffiliated individual, claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for the military's interference in politics. Additionally, a military official suspected that the blast may have been caused by the United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship, which denied involvement.
