05/23/2017: Assailants set fire to Dansalan College in Marawi, Lanao del Sur, Philippines. There were no reported casualties. This was one of seven coordinated attacks in Marawi on this date. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incidents. Sources also attributed the attacks to the Maute Group, the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG), and the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
