05/24/2017: Assailants set fire to a French-language elementary school in Ndodjiga, Mopti, Mali. There were no reported casualties in the attack. Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM) claimed responsibility for the incident and denounced Western education at the scene of the attack, threatening to burn down other schools teaching the French language.
