05/26/2017: Assailants abducted Kalicharan Mahto, a civilian, from his residence in Tiskopi, Jharkhand, India. Mahto was killed and his body was discovered the following morning. The Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) claimed responsibility for the incident and accused the victim of being a police informant.
