Incident Summary:

05/27/2017: Assailants opened fire on security posts in Shahidi Hassas, Uruzgan, Afghanistan. At least 11 security personnel, including two police officers and nine soldiers, were killed and an unknown number of people were injured in the attack. Additionally, the assailants sustained an undetermined number of casualties in the clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
