06/01/2017: Assailants fired mortars at fleeing civilians in Zanjili neighborhood, Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. At least seven people were killed and 23 other people were injured in the incident. This was one of two attacks targeting fleeing civilians in Zanjili on the same day. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
