Incident Summary:

06/09/2017: Assailants opened fire on the vehicle of Veysi Isik in Kozluk, Batman, Turkey. Isik, a local mayor, was not harmed as he was not present at the time. At least one person was killed and another person was injured in the assault. This was one of two attacks carried out by the same assailant on this date. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incidents to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
