Incident Summary:

06/09/2017: Assailants abducted four people, including Isa Salihu, along Birnin-Gwari Road between the Kaduna International Airport and Buruku village in Igabi district, Kaduna, Nigeria. Salihu, a Kaduna State House of Assembly member, was released the following day, on June 10th, 2017. The fate of the other three hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
