Incident Summary:

06/11/2017: Assailants abducted 120 civilians from Shifa neighborhood, Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. Four hostages were killed shortly after the kidnapping, and the fate of the remaining hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and noted that the victims were attempting to leave ISIL-controlled areas at the time of the abduction.
