06/16/2017: Assailants abducted a teacher, identified as Necmettin Yilmaz, in Siverek district, Sanliurfa, Turkey. The hostage was killed and his body was discovered on July 12, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
