06/04/2017: Assailants abducted 200 Turkmen civilians from Tal Afar, Nineveh, Iraq. The hostages were executed on July 4, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
