07/09/2017: Assailants attacked a Malian Army convoy along Gao-Menaka Road in Inkadagotan, Menaka, Mali. At least three soldiers were killed and eight other soldiers were abducted in the incident. All eight hostages were executed on July 16, 2017. The Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS) claimed responsibility for the attack.
