Incident Summary:

07/10/2017: Assailants opened fire on a bus carrying Hindu pilgrims returning from Amarnath Yatra in Batangoo, Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, India. At least eight people were killed and 18 people were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), which denied involvement, and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM).
