07/14/2017: Assailants opened fire on a police checkpoint in Pusht Rod, Farah, Afghanistan. Four people, including a police officer and three assailants, were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
