Incident Summary:
07/15/2017: Assailants abducted two boys and forced one of them to wear an explosives-laden vest in Muna Delti, Jere, Borno, Nigeria. The assailants soon released them; however, the vest detonated when the boy attempted to take it off in Delti, Borno, Nigeria. The boy was killed and his brother was injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.

The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
