Incident Summary:

07/17/2017: Assailants attacked a security checkpoint in Taywara, Ghor, Afghanistan. At least 18 people, including 13 assailants, four police officers and a civilian, were killed and nine assailants were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
