07/17/2017: Assailants, including two suicide bombers, attacked volunteer fighters southwest of Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. Security forces repelled the assault, killing seven assailants. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
