07/19/2017: An explosives-rigged house detonated in Najar neighborhood, Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. This was one of two related attacks in Najar neighborhood on this date. Eight civilians were killed and five civilians were injured across both blasts. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
