Incident Summary:

07/21/2017: Assailants opened fire on police responding to an earlier incident in Magsaysay, Guihulngan, Negros Oriental, Philippines. At least six police officers were killed and three other officers were injured in the assault. This was one of two attacks in Magsaysay on the same day. The New People's Army (NPA) claimed responsibility for the incident.
