07/23/2017: Assailants abducted a villager, identified as Sami ciftci, in Catalca, Semdinli, Hakkari, Turkey. ciftci was killed the same day on July 23, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
