07/29/2017: Assailants abducted two pilots of a Libyan National Army (LNA) aircraft that crashed in Duhr al-Hamr, Derna, Libya. One pilot, Colonel Adel Jehani, was executed on the same day and the fate of the other pilot, Waeel Waqwaq, is unknown. The Shura Council of Mujahideen in Derna claimed responsibility and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for LNA airstrikes.
