07/30/2017: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on a Ugandan African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) convoy in Golweyn, Lower Shebelle, Somalia. At least 12 soldiers were killed and seven soldiers were injured in the attack. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incident.
