08/02/2017: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) convoy in Shor Andam, Kandahar, Afghanistan. In addition to the assailant, two United States soldiers were killed and four were injured in the blast. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
