08/04/2017: A suicide bomber detonated their explosives outside the Molai hospital when they were attacked by a dog in Molai, Maiduguri, Borno state, Nigeria. The assailant and the dog were killed in the attack. This was one of three related attacks on the hospital. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
