Incident Summary:

08/05/2017: Assailants abducted six Tuareg civilians in Oudeina, Gao, Mali. Shortly after the kidnapping, four hostages were killed while the remaining two victims were released. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists who were suspected to be in collaboration with the Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO).
