Incident Summary:

08/09/2017: Assailants attacked an Iraqi Volunteer Forces headquarters north of the border crossing outside Waleed, Al Anbar, Iraq. At least twenty people, including nine soldiers and 11 assailants, were killed and 23 other soldiers and an unknown number of assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
