Incident Summary:

08/19/2017: Assailants threw an explosive device at a police station in Kalimpong, West Bengal, India. One civic volunteer was killed and two police officers were injured in the blast. The Gorkha Liberation Army (GLA) claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources also attributed the attack to the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM), which denied involvement, and Maoists.
