08/19/2017: Assailants abducted Gowhar Ahmad Dar, a civilian, in Dhobipora, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Dar was killed shortly after the kidnapping and his body was discovered the following morning. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
