08/22/2017: An explosive device detonated while military personnel were attempting to defuse the device in Wadi al-Khishen, Baalbek, Beqaa, Lebanon. One soldier was killed and four others were wounded in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
