Incident Summary:

08/24/2017: Assailants armed with rockets and firearms attacked Syrian Armed Forces (SAF) posts southeast of Raqqah city, Syria. At least 46 people, including 34 soldiers and 12 assailants, were killed and an unknown number of other people were injured in the ensuing clash. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
