08/27/2017: Assailants abducted 10 civilians and forced them to stand guard as the assailants planted an explosive device in Kharkaran, Kunduz, Afghanistan. The device detonated prematurely, killing two assailants and injuring 10 civilians in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
