08/29/2017: An explosive device detonated targeting a Ugandan African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) convoy between Bulo Marer and Golweyn, Lower Shebelle, Somalia. There were no reported casualties in the blast, but two civilians were killed and two civilians were injured in the ensuing clash with security forces. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incident.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
