Incident Summary:

09/04/2017: Assailants abducted four civilians from Pendodi, Chhattisgarh, India. One hostage was killed and the remaining three hostages were assaulted shortly after the kidnapping. The fate of the remaining three hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
