09/06/2017: Assailants in Iraq fired mortars and anti-aircraft guns at military personnel in Tekeli, Hakkari, Turkey. Two assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
