09/07/2017: Assailants attacked security checkpoints in Almar, Faryab, Afghanistan. This was one of three related attacks in Faryab on the same day. At least 18 assailants, one civilian, and one uprising member were killed and 13 assailants and two civilians were injured across the ensuing clashes. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attacks.
