Incident Summary:

10/08/2017: Assailants abducted Devendra Kumar Sinha in Bordumsa, Arunachal Pradesh, India. Sinha, a National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) engineer, was injured in the attack before being released on October 15th, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM). Sources also suspected the involvement of the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) in the kidnapping.
