Incident Summary:

10/15/2017: Assailants abducted Sultan Saleh al-Jedi, a human rights activist and former adviser for the Houthi ministry of foreign affairs, in Sanaa, Amanat Al Asimah, Yemen. Al-Jedi was tortured and died in captivity on September 18, 2019. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah).
