10/17/2017: An explosive device detonated near Idris Khan in Raqqah governorate, Syria. At least three people, including Khan, a Raqqa Internal Security Forces (RISF) commander, and two Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) members, were killed in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
