10/30/2017: Assailants abducted two civilians from Michiras, Chhattisgarh, India. One hostage, identified as Kosa Mandavi, was killed while the other hostage was beaten and released on November 3, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists and stated that Mandavi was accused of being a police informant.
